Flatiron Building, New York City | Steph and Nick | Anniversary Session

Last month I got the chance to go to New York for an elopement. New York City is such an amazing place It’s fast passed, energetic, so very much alive. But what I found is that if you are anywhere in the city before the sun comes up there is this calmness. It is still and quiet and you can feel the city getting ready for hustle and bustle of the day. It reminded me a lot of standing in San Marco Sq Venice Italy at sunrise. You feel like your the only one in this great big world

It was amazing to get to meet and spend the morning with Steph & Nick. They just moved to NYC from Texas and are doing great things with a local college christian group. They were so cute telling me about how they met and you can just feel how passionate they are about the work they are doing. Sometimes taking a big risk is 100% worth it.

I am so dang blessed to have the job I do and to get to capture such an exciting time in Steph & Nick’s lives. A time that they will look back at in 20 years and remember those first couple months they had moved to NYC. When everything was exciting and new. A new home, city, routine, making new friends. I can’t wait to see where this new journey takes them! I am just so thankful to have a job that I love and to get to make new friends everywhere I go!

XOXO

MNY
